It was just a matter of how and when she'd get caught ruining her sister's life. It held my interest, but I could easily tell what Paige's next delusional step would be. With its predictable plot, Secret Obsession was not as enticing. Those books have me on the edge of my reading chair, flipping the pages so fast that the page numbers blur. I was first introduced to Roby with the Curtis Black series. As all schemes do, it falls apart and unfolds before the reader's eyes. Paige develops a sneaky, calculated plan to steal her brother-in-law. Only problem is Pierce is already married.to Camille! After so many years of built up envy, Paige decides to flip the script and take what is rightfully hers: Pierce Montgomery. She grew up criticized by parents, looked down upon, and treated like the sister that should have never been. But there is one person who can barely stand the sight of Camille - her own sister, Paige. Smart, had good grades, popular, has a loving husband and two beautiful children, and parents who adore her. This book is a must read for anyone who loves chick lit.Camille is perfect. It’s a fast read because of the email format. Don’t let the size of this book – over 650 pages – scare you away. I found Holly to be a delight and I could really relate to some of her feelings. I was surprised at how well the author was able to develop Holly and some of the other characters simply through emails. I took Holly’s Inbox to the beach with me and thoroughly enjoyed it – it was fun and quirky and easy to follow. Holly communicates with a handful of her current co-workers, two old friends and her wacky family. This book is great fun and easy to follow since there aren’t that many characters.

Instead of being written as letters, though, this one is written in the form of emails. Holly’s Inbox by Holly Denham is just what it sounds like – a modern day epistolary novel.

Holly’s family is always trying to get her involved in something crazy – bringing dead rats to Spain or applying for a nightclub license.

When Holly’s first love, Toby comes to work at the same institution, Holly is appalled and does all she can to avoid him. Jennie, his new love, is also a co-worker, and she never misses an opportunity to let Holly know that she’s the one with James now. Holly gets involved with James, a co-worker, and is devastated when the relationship sours. She catches on quickly, though and she and Trish become allies. At first, she struggles with the job and her relationship with Trish, her co-worker. Holly Denham has just gotten a job as a receptionist at a financial institution in London.
